About The Therapist
Aiteria Kaufman, RMHCI, NCC
Aiteria is a compassionate believer, wife, mother, and friend. Aiteria served active duty in the United States Navy for four years where she worked as a mental health tech working with active duty and military veterans in the outpatient and inpatient settings. She graduated from American Military University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Graduated from Jacksonville University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Degree. She is currently working towards obtaining her Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Clinical Sexology from Modern Sex Therapist Institute. She is a National Board Certified Counselor and a chapter member of the Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International of Chi Sigma Iota. She has over 6 years of experience working with a diverse population.
Aiteria's approach as a counselor is to help guide and empower clients to realize they’re the experts of their lives. She values and believes in the importance of a strong support system to increase the desired level of functioning. Aiteria strives to provide a warm, safe, and supportive environment for her clients to find the comfort in presenting their most vulnerable self to promote healing.
